Oleksandra & Darren

From the Bride …

Later in the evening, the wedding guests enjoyed a spectacular floating lantern finale, as well as another unplanned wonder. It just so happened that our wedding day fell on the weekend of this August’s Perseid meteor shower. Clear, unlit skies of the countryside provided a truly spectacular culmination to a magical day, proving that the best memories are often those that fall outside of the plan.

What was so unique in this setting was the mixture of items we created and those not only supplied, but actually grown, by the bride and her mother, leading up to the wedding.   This was very much a DIY wedding, under the talented design eye of Olexsandra.   Every detail was thought out and tailored to the couple’s unique careers and interests (Darren is a wildlife wrangler at Toronto Pearson – how cool is that?!?!)
